Seneca – Katie Marie Ferguson, 90, widow of Leonard Ferguson, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in Laredo, Texas to Frank and Florence Blanchard Owens and was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons Doyle Ray Daugherty of Braidwood, Illinois and Billy Ray Starks of Freeburg, Illinois; daughter Edna Reppert (Wayne Owens) of Long Creek; sisters Pat Barnes of Taft, California and Frances Milgate of Shreveport, Louisiana; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by son Delton Wayne Daugherty; brothers Johnny and Buster Owens and William Brown; and grandson Michael Roberts.
A private burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Shreveport, Louisiana.
