Roll for June 30 - October 31, 1863, Absent, sick, in Hospital, Greenville, Alabama, when last heard from. Rolls from November 1863 - April 30, 1864, Present. Roll for May 1 - August 31, 1864, Absent. Wounded in Hospital since July 28, 1864. Roll for September 1, 1864 - February 28, 1865, Present. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War show him captured at Spanish Fort, Alabama, April 8, 1865. Received at Ship Island, Mississippi, April 10, 1865. Transferred to Vicksburg, Mississippi, May 1, 1865. Paroled at Camp Townsend, May 6, 1865.
