From Louisiana Archives ~ Delahay, Alfred, Private Company A Miles Legion Louisiana Volunteers. Enlisted September 1st, 1862, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War show him captured May 2nd, 1863, Comite River, Louisiana. Paroled at Grant's Island, off Mobile, Alabama, May 30th, 1863.
