Services for Charles Yearby, 64, of Ferriday, Louisiana, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Sunflower Baptist Church in Ferriday, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
Mr Yearby was born July 2, 1951 in Vidalia, Louisiana, son of Frank and Louise King Yearby and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was US Army Retired Veteran.
Mr Yearby was preceded in death by parents; son, Charles Turner and brother Frank Yearby, Jr.
Survivors include wife Sharon Ray Yearby; son Kelvin Yearby, both of Ferriday, Louisiana; daughters Myra Yearby of San Antonio, Texas; Yolanda Franklin of Missouri City, Texas; brothers Willie Yearby and wife Marie; Johnny Yearby and Lesley Yearby all of Vidalia, Louisiana; sister Lucy Lewis of Houston, Texas; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grand children; a special friend, Buddy Arrington of Vidalia, Louisiana and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
