Graveside services for Larry Dale Washington, 71, of Ridgecrest, LA will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from the Vidalia Cemetery in Vidalia, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Pastor Danny Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Washington, son of the late Simon and Clara Moore Washington, was born in Monroe, LA and died at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Jr. and Travis Washington both of California; one brother, Simon Curtis Mickey Washington and his wife, Robin of Las Vegas, NV; four aunts, Elizabeth "Liz" Davis of Ferriday; Rosa Redd of Greenville, SC; Louisa Avery of Missouri City, TX and Agnes Marshall of Las Vegas, NV; two uncles, Purvis Washington and his wife, Willie Mae of Chicago, IL and Marcellus Price and his wife Helen of Las Vegas.
Also one niece, Brandi Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; two devoted cousins, Verna Mae Whitley-Batiste of Vidalia and Betty Davis of Ferriday and a number of other cousins, other relatives and friends.
