Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Philadelphia Christian Church for Creig Anthony Green, Jr., 28, who was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Jacksonville, AR.
Services will be conducted by Pastor Omar Thibeaux.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Creig attended Carencro High School. Upon graduation, he worked a few jobs and then entered the United States Air Force. He received several certificates from the Air Force. He took some college courses and completed a welding course. He also had the passion as a barber and enjoyed sports. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, laughing, clowning around, and cleaning his vehicles.
Creig is survived by his parents, Rachel and Creig Green, Sr.; sister, India Nicole Green; brother, Tyson Phillips; his only son, Carsen Anthony Green; grandmother, Irma Jean Green of Lafayette, LA; aunts: Kim Green (Kenneth) of Lafayette, LA, Andrea Marie Francis (Robert) of Lake Charles, LA, Jasmine Green of Lafayette, LA, and LaTisha Sias (Ethan) of Lafayette, LA; grandfather, Thomas Alfred of Lafayette, LA; uncles: Jemon Perro (Patricia) of Lafayette, LA, Joshua Green of Lafayette, LA; and a host of cousins, nieces, his only godchild, Kaydence Nicholas; one great aunt, Anna Belle Simpson, a nephew, and friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Louise Simpson Perro; grandfather, Davis Joseph Perro; great-grandparents, Samuel Perro (Virginia); great-uncles, Joseph, Caffery and Paul Simpson; great aunts, Isabelle Senegal and Precise Simpson; great-grandparent, Ida Matthews, and Josie Mae Alfred Page.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Philadelphia Christian Church from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
