Lafayette - Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Charles Earl Decuir, 81, who died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his residence in Lafayette, Louisiana. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Decuir; daughters Veronica Decuir of Lafayette, Dr Jessica (Dr Norris Jr) Gunby of Durham, North Carolina, Michelle (Craig Sr) Mouton of Lafayette; sons Dwight (Lasonya) Decuir of Prairieville, Mark (Bernadette) Wiltz of Lafayette and Keith (Ramona) Wiltz of Carencro; brothers Phillip Decuir of Lafayette and Gene (Beulah) Decuir of Baton Rouge; grandchildren Norris White Gunby, III, Shawn Wiltz, Craig (Alexis) Mouton, Jr, Frankie (Renada) Mouton, Ashley (Howard Sr) Pradier, Kimberly (Bryant Sr) LeBlanc and Brittany Mouton; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by parents Charles and Henrietta Decuir; first wife Daisy Decuir; grandson Gabriel Gunby, and sister-in-law, Deborah Decuir.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am.
