Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Syrie Funeral Home for Sethtanith Ray Mouton, 15, who died February 1, 2016.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Seth Mouton was born March 26, 2000 to Gloria Mouton and the late Adrian Richmond. Seth was raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL for the first 8 years of his life. In 2009, Seth returned home to Louisiana where he was reunited with his sisters, family and friends.
Seth was a Sophomore at Acadiana High School. He enjoyed all sports, especially basketball and football. He also enjoyed working with electronics. He would pull them apart and put them back together again. He was a very humble guy who never had too much to say. When he did speak it was always with a smile to let you know that he heard what was said. Seth's smile was his words.
Seth is survived by his mother, Gloria Mouton; five sisters, Shannon (Chris) Diamond, Senica (Edward) Anderson, Shelby Mouton, Sy-mond Mouton, all of Lafayette, LA and April Richmond of Port Arthur, TX; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Louise Richmond of Port Arthur, TX; six nieces and nephews, Christiana Diamond, JaRod and Jace Anderson, Cohni Gilbert, Paisley and Payton James; two very special friends, Deonte carmouche and Harris "Boe Dae" Faulk; Godparents, Debra Roper Mouton and Russell Roy Mouton of Fort Lauderdale, FL and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Seth was preceded in death by his father, Adrian Richmond; maternal grandparents, Mable Mouton and Wallace Dean; paternal grandfather, Felton Richmond, Sr. and two uncles, Earnest and Carlton Dean.
