Lafayette: Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 12:30pm at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette for Jason Shelvin who passed away Monday, June 26, 2017.

Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette following the funeral.

Jason Shelvin was born March 17, 1965 in Lafayette, La to the late Joseph Shelvin Sr. and Catherine McGlorie Bradley.

Jason leaves to cherish his memories, his son; Denario Livas, and his daughter; Mia Denise Shelvin, his two sisters: Addrianna Shelvin, and Donchita (Michael) Peoples, his three brothers: Ernest Shelvin Sr., Joseph (Mary) Shelvin Sr., Linus Shelvin, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Shelvin Sr., and Catherine McGlorie Bradley, maternal grandparents: Paul McGlorie and Bertha Isadore McGlorie, and paternal grandparents: Esteve and Elouise Bonnet.
