A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church for Nelson Joseph Senegal age 72. Fr Robert Seay will be the celebrant. He will be buried in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr Senegal passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Lafayette General Hospital. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his parents, Joseph and Ada Sengal of Lafayette ; sons Ashton Senegal, Eric Senegal and Paul Senegal all of Lafayette, daughters, Stacey Guillory(Ernest) and Eva Richard both of Lafayette; brother Earl Joseph(Monica) of Lafayette; sisters Anna Bell Isadore (Elton), Rose Chaisson(David), Barbara Batiste(Joseph), Kathy Allen(Harold) and Beverly Senegal; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
