Jessie Weldon Kilpatrick
Nevella (Garland) Kilpatrick
Mr. Kilpatrick passed away after a long illness on April 28, 2007 at the age of 86. He was born in Haynesville, Louisiana to Dayton Barnett and Ila Virginia Kilpatrick. Weldon was a farmer and former tax assessor in Claiborne Parish for many years and served as a Claiborne Parish Police juror for a number of years with the lst of these as president. He was active in several professional and civic organizations. Wesldon was a faithful member of the Whitehall United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death was his parents and two sisters; Bessie Dee Ratliff and Elise Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nevella Garland Kilpatrick, Two sons, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two brothers.
