Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday October 5, 2013 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette for Shannon G. Freeman, 31, of Green Bay, VA, who passed away on September 25, 2013. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 9:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM and will resume Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 8:00AM until just prior to service time at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the services at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. He was born to the late Edward Eugene Freeman and Donna Faye White on March 26, 1982 in Lafayette, LA. Shannon was a talented carpenter. He was also a patient loving father, son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by two children, Hailey Renee Castille and Shi Michael Freeman both of Maurice, LA. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty Jane Freeman Moss and Terri Freeman and two brothers, Michael Freeman and James Dillard White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Summer Dawn White and Cora Lorena Freeman. Pallbearers will be Tony Steno, Glen Steno, Junius Richard, Doak Castille, Bryce Castille and Christopher Dean. Honorary pallbearers will be Shi Michael Freeman and Betty Freeman Moss.
