Lafayette - Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Peggy Ann Charles, age 51, who died Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home in Lafayette.
Services will be conducted by Fr. Chien Dinh, SVD.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
She is survived by her long-time companion of 29 years, Mr. Frank Armstead; her only child, Ms. LaTasha Rene Charles (Marcus Harris, Fiance’) of Houston; her father, Mr. Alton Charles of Lafayette; her three siblings, Mr. Scotty Charles and Mr. Courtney Gothe, both of Houston and Mrs. Alexis Charles Collins (Eddie Collins) of Crowley and one granddaughter, Kennedi Lawrence, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Florence Charles and two siblings Shawn Charles and Bradley Charles; maternal grandparents: Ernest Rubin, Sr., and Ruby Dural Rubin; paternal grandparents, Curley Charles and Celina Charles; maternal Aunts, Wanda Rubin Francis, Sandra Rubin; Maternal Uncles, Sherby “Frank” Rubin and John Allen “Linus” Rubin.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
