LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Spirit and Truth Church for Leonard Ray Gotch. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Leonard Ray Gotch was born November 16, 1960 to Peter N. Gotch Jr. and Mathilda A. Knight Gotch. He departed this life on July 13, 2013 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. In November 2012 he was baptized In the Name of Jesus Christ at Special Deliverance Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife of 27 years, Octavia T. Gotch and his loving son through marriage, Russell J. Cue; five brothers, Donnie R. (Lynette) Gotch, Arnold E. (Joyce) Gotch, Pastor Ronald A. (Serena) Gotch of Baton Rouge, Derrick P. Gotch, and Jonathan P. Knight; two sisters, Vanessa A. Gotch and Debora D. Gotch and one God-son, Drake Gotch and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Grady J. Gotch; Grandparents, Earnest Knight, Mildred Newis Hawkins; Great Grandparents, Fernest Newis, and Alice George Newis.

Public visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Spirit and Truth Church, 1128 West Simcoe Street, Lafayette, LA beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
