Lafayette----Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Lafayette, Louisiana for Ms. Delores Borel, 63, of Lafayette; who passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at her residence.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Rev Hampton Davis will be officiating the funeral services.
Ms Borel is survived daughter Sara Borel of Lafayette; Rose Charles Marks of Lafayette who was loved like a sister; Mary Ann Weathersby, Betty, Lorina, Linda, Cleveland (Shanwonnia), Howard, Lawrence, Clinton and Freddie Solomon who were loved and raised like her own son’s and daughter‘s; grand children Isaiah Borel of Lafayette and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents: Preston Solomon and Elivage Borel; brother John Solomon and three nephews: Anthony Noel, Kendall and Nary Solomon.
Visitation will be observed at the funeral home, Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 8:00 am until time of services.
