LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Latonya Rene' Elaire, 32, who passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. Fr Thomas James, SVD will be the Celebrant of the Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Brylie and Brandon Elaire; fiance John Felix; parents Helen Senegal and George O'Neil; sisters Tangela (Dwight) Elaire-Eaglin, Martha (Timothy) Summers, Katina (Earl) Elaire, Jacqueline (Malone) Elaire, Christina (Carroll) Elaire, Jennifer Elaire, Kathleen (Jonathan) Phillips, Denise (Robert) Casel, Della (Bernard) O'Neil Thorton, Vanessa (Rodney) Wright, and Yolanda (Kenneth) Simmons; brothers George Elaire, Jermaine Elaire, John O'Neil, Shane (Candace) O'Neil, Donavon (Shawnetta) O'Neil, and George (Shawne) O'Neil. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Agnes S Hulin and Joseph Hulin; paternal grand -parents Agnes and George O'Neil; uncles James Senegal, Calvin Senegal, Rodney Senegal and Milton Hulin; cousins Milton Figaro, Linda Darby, Raymond Helaire, Trelly Chaisson, Jamya Woods and Nathan O'Neil, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 9 am.
