Funeral services for Arthur (Dick) Yore will be held Thursday April 1, 2010 at 11:00 at First Baptist Church Doyline. Officiating will be Rev. Ben Jordan. Interment will follow at Doyline Cemetery in Doyline. Family received friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday March 31, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Arthur was born May 27, 1932 in Allegan, Michigan and entered into rest March 30, 2010 in Shreveport. He was a B-52 pilot in the United States Air Force and retired after twenty plus years from Barksdale AFB.
He is survived by his wife Betty of Doyline, son Michael Lynn Yore of Indian, Alaska, daughters Carrie E. Rachal of Shreveport, Bonnie L. Yore of Yorktown, Virginia, brothers James Yore of Coloma, Michigan, Terry Yore of Sodus, Michigan, Patrick Yore of Watervliet, Michigan, six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Earl Moseley, Dallas Garner, Joe Little, Jerry Thompson, John Zavalydriga, Ray Smith, and Jared Yore.
