September 26, 1984 - November 8, 2018

Christopher Patrick McLemore, age 34, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away Thursday November 8, 2018. Christopher was born September 26, 1984 in Minden, Louisiana to Patricia Lynn (Clair) McLemore and Benny Joe McLemore.

The hot soldering iron sitting on a carpeted floor in 12 year old Chris's bedroom is the perfect metaphor for the paradoxical life he lived: insatiable curiosity, sometimes at the expense of danger. Empathy came easy for Chris at an early age, as he was always attuned to the needs and feelings of others. Looking for a laugh, looking to comfort, never forced and always with sincerity "Don't worry about me, Granny."

He had the loyalty of an Irish Setter with the hair to match. You could sometimes see that hair waving around town as he was staple in the music community. He played music, fast. No, faster. No! Faster than even that. Maybe he was just in hurry because he realized he left his soldering iron on, or maybe he wanted to get back to the logistics of converting his vehicle from gas to electric.

Intelligence was important to Chris, which was reflected in his choice of friends. With a positive, optimistic outlook, he was always searching for ways to expand the bounds of his imagination to drive creativity and was infatuated with people doing the same. An old soul in a young body He was loved, and he will be missed.

Christopher is survived by mother Patricia Lynn (Clair) McLemore and father Benny Joe McLemore; brother Trey Danger, sister Sammi McLemore, step-brother Drake David, step-brother Clayton Thomas and step-sister Megan Bohon; nephew Jayson Leathers and nephew Levon Danger.

Serving as pallbearers are Jared Cannon, Evan Shofner, Clayton Thomas, Travis Thomas, Lonnie Troquille, Ruben Velazquez, Jeff Gardella, David Gordon and Drake David.
