On Register of Prisoners of War, dated April 30, 1863. Captured at Bayou Teche, Louisiana, April 14, 1863. Paroled at Prophet's Island, below Port Hudson, Louisiana, May 5, 1863. Roll for January and February, 1864, Absent. Detached with Provost Guard at Alexandria, Louisiana, February 13, 1863.
