Funeral services for Mr. Daniel H. Rachow will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, with Rev. Sammy Morrow officiating. Interment will be in Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Rachow, age 59, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Dubuis Hospital in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Pollock, La. He was a softball coach and board member for many years with Dixie Softball at Ward 10 Recreational Park and he loved all his “Softball Girls”. He was an avid hunter and longtime member of Springs Hunting Club, Grayson, La. He loved the Lord and lived his life according to God’s will. He was a loving husband, brother, father, PawPaw and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Sarah Patton Rachow.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Brenda Rachow of Ball; two sons, Joshua Daniel Rachow and Roger Lee Moore; two daughters Laura Rachow Moore (Roger) and Kate Elizabeth Rachow; three sisters, Becky Livingston (Jimmy), Kathy Sanders (Billy) and Ruthie Leon (Steve); two grandchildren, Devin Lee Moore and Ava Elizabeth Moore; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Roger Crawley, Larry Floyd, Billy Andrews, Mike Sharbino, Wayne Roaten, Bobby Miller, Chad Andrews and Kody Sasser; honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Childress, Gerald Childress, Kyle Sasser, Lee Morrow, Seth Roaten, Si Roaten and Springs Hunting Club.
