Funeral services for Leon H. Caldwell, Jr. will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 22, 2019 at Fair Park Baptist Church. Rev. Waymond Warren will officiate with Clint Caldwell eulogizing. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 22, 2019 at the church.Leon was born August 22, 1948 in Monroe, LA and passed away April 19, 2019 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of Fair Park Baptist Church and a United States Air Force Veteran. He retired as a plant manager for Cotton States Chemical Company and was a construction engineer. Leon was preceded in death by his father, Leon H. Caldwell, Sr.Leon is survived by his wife, Sue Frantom Caldwell; two children, Mark Caldwell and wife Karen, Leigh Ann Caldwell Ford and husband Darren; mother, Frances Sissy Caldwell; two brothers, Clint Caldwell and wife Stephanie, Lanny Caldwell; grandchildren, Mason Caldwell and wife Mandy, Cayden Caldwell and wife Hayley, Tanner Caldwell, Eli Caldwell, Jordyn Murry, Logan Murry, Regan Murry; great-grandchildren, Maddox Caldwell, Layne Caldwell, Dawson Caldwell, many other cherished family and friends.Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Shrum and D.M. Kennedy.
