Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War, show him captured near Franklin, Tennessee, December 17, 1864. Received Military Prison, Louisville, Kentucky, from Nashville, Tennessee, December 20, 1864. Forwarded to Camp Douglas, Illinois, December 22, 1864. Released on Oath of Allegiance, June 12, 1864. Res. E Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, complexion light, hair dark, eyes blue, height 5 ft 8 in.
