Killed In Action
He was killed in action at Flanders Field, Belgium and buried November 8, 1918, at Nouart, Ardennes. He was disinterred and reburied on June 28, 1919, at Argonne American Cemetery, Romagne Sous Montfaucon, Meuse. On August 4, 1921, he was disinterred and sent to Athens, Louisiana, arriving on October 21, 1921. He was reburied at Hurricane Cemetery on October 23, 1921.
