Mary Wilkins was born November 20, 1920 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Bartley and Charlotte Johnson. She was an avid member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Mary was employed with Bryan & Bryan Advertising as a Clerical Secretary for many years and furthered her employment with Steel Forgings.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, JF "Fizz" Wilkins and her 9 siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dr. Don R. Wilkins (Kris) of Granville, Ohio; and David L. Wilkins of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Carol Cay Wilkins Johnson (Lt. Commander Michael J) of Newport, RI; grandchildren, Don Reed Wilkins Jr. (Rebecca) of Dallas, TX, Dr. John Mark Shellenberger of Little Rock, AK, Danielle Wilkins, David Wesley Wilkins, Dylan Lynn Wilkins of Shreveport, LA, Victoria Ann Johnson and Andrew Julius Johnson of Newport; great-grandchildren, Brodi Brooks and Connor Robert Wilkins.

Honoring Mary as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Mary lived her life by the true Corinthian example; she was not easily angered, and she kept no record of wrongs. She never delighted in evil and always rejoiced in the truth. She perservered, trusted and was always full of hope and encouragement.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. James Jackson and Tri-State Clinic Staff and the staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont and a special thanks to Kathy Williams and Shirley Jones for all their love and care over the years.

Also, a special thank you to mom's Broadmoor Baptist family, who reached out to her in a time of need, especially Dr. Williams & Patsy.
