Bobbie Rose Nick Griffith Kilpatrick Funeral Homes Farmerville, LA. Funeral services for Bobbie Rose Nick Griffith of Arlington, Texas, will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 26, 2013 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville, with Jared West officiating. Interment will follow in the Mineral Springs Cemetery in Ruston, LA. Bobbie was born July 14, 1943, in Ruston, LA, and passed away May 18, 2013. She grew up in Monroe, LA, and graduated from Ouachita Parish high School in 1961. She spent most of her adult life living and working in Arlington, Texas, where she recently retired as Subcontract Program Manager from Lockheed Martin after 26 years of service. Prior to working at Lockheed, Bobbie retired from Atlantic Richfield Oil Company. After raising her family, Bobbie went to Dallas Baptist University to earn her degree. Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lois Nick and Robert Nick. She is survived by her son Kevin Griffith and wife Cristy; daughter Wendy Hay and husband James; grandchildren Madeleine “Maddie” Griffith, Sarah Hay, Katy Hay and Ryan Hay; brother, Lamar Nick and wife Mary; sisters, Carol Stewart and husband Robert “Bee”; and Bonnie Konkle and husband Johnny; numerous nieces and nephews.
