Dewey Clayton Hagmann passed away peacefully on June 14, 2019 surrounded by his family. He is now in heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Wilson Gibson and Joyce Rita Hagmann. He is survived by his siblings, Raymond Clinton Hagmann, George Randall Hagmann, Eugenie Ann Hagmann, and Michelle Marie Hagmann, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dewey had an extended family with Alcoholics Anonymous and he received his 23-year sobriety chip before his passing. Dewey was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and his main passion was spearfishing. Dewey's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Parkview Baptist Church located at 6301 Camphor Street in Metairie, LA 70003. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Passages Hospice, 617 Dublin St. in New Orleans, LA 70118.
