Funeral services for Raymond A Johnson, 94, of Farmerville, Louisiana, will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville. Officiating will be Bro John Saunders. Interment will follow in Mt Tabor Cemetery in Farmerville. He was born July 18, 1922 and passed away April 21, 2017. Raymond was a trucking contractor and a farmer. He loved visiting with family and friends, reminiscing of times gone by. He attended Faith Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by wife of 73 years, Izola Johnson and great -grandson Jake Whitlock. Survivors include children: Jean Kenly and husband Gary, Jimmie Johnson and wife Lynn, grandchildren Danny Kenly and wife Jacque, J J Johnson and wife Brenda, Jan Myers and husband Jerry, and Jennifer Whitlock and husband Phillip, great grandchildren Cody Kenly, Riley and Clint Johnson, Chance and Clay Whitlock, brother Elton Tick Johnson and wife Jan, sister Elvin Carter and husband Gary, sister-in-law Nancy Ginn and husband Zeb and numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Special thanks to Joan Jones, the staff at Farmerville Nursing and Rehab Center, Stat Home Health, and Union General Hospital E R staff for all the care given.
