Thomas Durward (T D) Chandler, a retired employee of Southern Natural Gas passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. Services will be held Monday, April 25, 2016, at 10:00 AM at the Douglas United Methodist Church in Douglas, Louisiana. Reverend Jeremy Jones will officiate. Interment will be at the Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, Louisiana. Mr Chandler, a loving family man, was an Army veteran, a faithful member of Douglas United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Choudrant, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Marie Holtzclaw Chandler, his parents, and five siblings. He is survived by daughters Joyce Bryan wife of the late John Bryan of Choudrant, Judy Irvin and husband Lynn Irvin of Ruston, Louisiana and Virginia Ham and husband Troy of Douglas, Louisiana; grandchildren: Stephanie Antley and husband Joel, Cheryl Holloway and husband David, Jay Ham and wife, Jennifer, Ann Clark and husband Michael, Karen Hanchey and husband Chris, Kelly Irvin and wife Jaime, and Chris Irvin and wife Carrie; 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brody Holloway, Luke Holloway, Joseph Ham, Kelly Irvin, Chris Irvin and Jay Ham. Honorary Pallbearers are Joel Antley, David Holloway, Chris Hanchey, Michael Clark, Payton Antley, Jude Hanchey, Owen Hanchey, Andy Clark, and Josh Clark.
