Funeral services for Mrs Helen Marie Howell will be 10:00am Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Shiloh Cemetery in Bernice, Louisiana with Rev Neal Everett officiating. Interment will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be 5:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Home.
Mrs Howell was born November 19, 1931 in Hico, Louisiana and passed November 2, 2014 in Monroe at the age of 82. She was a resident of Calhoun, a caregiver at Angel Care & Comfort Care for twelve years and a cafeteria worker at both Drew & Riser Elementary schools for five years.
She is preceded in death by husband Herschel Howell; parents William Theddie Wiltcher & Bonnie Hovins Wiltcher and daughter-in-law Darlene Howell.
Survivors include son, Nathan Howell of Monroe; brothe, Billy Wiltcher of Dubach; sisters Hazel Pruitt of Bernice, Patricia Davis of Ruston, and Aurice Turner & husband Don of Simsboro; sister-in-law Patsy Wiltcher of Simsboro; grandchildren Jenna Howell & John Garrett of Calhoun, Shane Howell & wife Pam of Center, Texas and Chris Rudy Howell of Calhoun; great-grandsons Dakota Wyatt Howell of Farmerville and Aaron Hayze Garrett of Calhoun; step -granddaughter Kasie Waller of Center; great great-grandson Stetson Waller and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Howell, Shane Howell, Rudy Howell, John Garrett, Chris Cross and Shane Griffin.
