Funeral services for Susan Walton Brumett 89, of Farmerville, Louisiana will be held June 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville with Rev Scott Scallan officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Bernice under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Farmerville, Louisiana.
She was born March 29, 1931 in Farmerville; and passed away June 2, 2020 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by parents, John David Walton and Lavada Miller, husband Robert Brumett and son Kimberly Brumett.
Susan is survived by children Larry Brumett of Monroe; David Brumett of Simsboro, Louisiana; Donna Gates of Farmerville, LA; Patricia Holley of Mt. Ida, AR; Dale Brumett of Ruston, LA; Kathy Morris of Farmerville; Tracy Brumett of Farmerville; and Amy Heard of Farmerville; sister Odell Strickland of Choudrant, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Prestridge, Craig Prestridge, Henry Ramirez, John David Brumett, Anthony Tedeton, and Chris Caswell.
