Mrs. Ora Elizabeth Goss, 49, of Bernice, La., died at her home Monday afternoon following an apparent heart attack. Mrs. Goss was born in Bernice and was the daughter of Simon and Minnie Grafton Pearson. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. James Gray and Rev. M. F. Copeland officiating. burial followed in Shiloh Cemetery under direction of Pratt Funeral Home of Junction City. Pallbearers were W. D. Smith, George Wiltcher, H. R. Jackson, Billy Grafton, J. C. Stone and George Moore. Survivors include her husband, Dale Goss of Bernice; three daughters, Mrs. Reatha Denham, Miss Bonnie Dale Goss and Miss Connie Sue Goss; all of Bernice; her mother; three sisters, Mrs. Tonway Smith of Bernice, Mrs. Joyce Nichloes of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Maurice Barnett of Dubach, La.; three brothers, Eugene Pearson, Simon Pearson, Jr. and Bural Tom Pearson, all of Bernice.
