Mary Margaret Johnson was oldest of six children of Seaborn and Mary Eveline Frances (Fannie) Moses. She was born in Marion County, Mississippi and moved with her family to Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. She married James Beauregard Price January 29, 1885 in Catahoula Parish and they were the parents of 11 children (all but one lived to adulthood). Husband, James, died in 1935, and Mary Margaret lived with or close to her children till her passing in 1954.
