Funeral services for Brenda McKee Wheeler, 67, of West Monroe will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Larry Hibbard will officiate. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be Monday June 17, 2013 from 5-8 PM. Brenda was born March 20, 1946 in Donaldson, LA and passed away June 16, 2013 in West Monroe. Brenda loved her family, liked to fish, hunt, dance, and sing karaoke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Una and Irving McKee; brother, Ruffin Gray; son, Dempsey and daughter, Mary Michelle Lewis. Brenda is survived by her husband, Grady Wheeler, Jr; daughters, Theresa L Goodner, Rita L Jarrett and husband James; sons, Richard J. Lewis, Mickey L. Lewis and fiancé Robin Fisher. Mrs. Wheeler had 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. One sister, Bonnie McKee Pickard along with 2 nieces and one nephew.
