Funeral Services for Mr. Jamie Lynn Stapleton, 33, of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2015, at Lapine Assembly of God Church in West Monroe with Rev. Gene Benson and Dr. Terry Mims officiating. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Church Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Jamie was born October 8, 1981 in Monroe, LA and passed away on August 26, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He worked in the construction industry. He is preceded in death by grandmother, Connie Mims, and father, Ricky A. Burke.
Survivors include: parents, Angela Hodnett, James Mims Sr. and Maria Mims; three brothers, Justin, Frank and James; four sisters, Tamekie, DeLana, Misty, and Santana; grandparents, Billy Mims Sr, Evelyn Warlick, Diane Pulley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Frank, James M, Eric, James S., Adam, and Kevin. Honorary Pallbearer will be Lil Kal.
