Funeral services for James Richard “Rickey” Lewis, 61, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday October 25, 2012 at Lapine Assembly of God in West Monroe with Rev. Gene Benson officiating. Interment will be in the Lapine Assembly of God Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Mr. Lewis was born on January 3, 1951 in Ouachita Parish, LA, and passed away on October 21, 2012 in West Monroe.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Jo Lewis; children, Rickey Dale Lewis, Sabrina Lewis, Naomi Lewis; grandchildren, Gabriele and Molly Lewis, Brittany and Kyle Whorton, Caron Hunter, Devin Lewis, Riley Spillers, Cody Wilson, and Cassie Lewis; brothers, Ron Lewis and wife Linda, Rodney Lewis and wife Rose; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Randy Odom, Rodney Lewis, II, Joseph Redden, Herbie Harrell, Adam Brister, and Dakota Reed.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Slade, Patrick Wilson, Willis Whorton, Lonnie Hunter, Mark Spillers, and Jeff Streeter.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday October 24, 2012 at Lapine Assembly of God Church in West Monroe.
