Funeral Services for Mr. John Wade Grau, 63, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Andy Myrick and Rev. Frank Coens officiating.
Interment will follow in the Douglas Cemetery in Ruston, LA.
Mr. Grau was born on October 5, 1950 and passed away on October 7, 2013 at his residence in West Monroe, LA.
John was an Airplane Mechanic and Pilot recording numerous hours in the cockpit.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald E. and Frankie Evelyn "Polly" Grau; brothers, Clyde E. Grau and Gary Grau Chitzy, and sister, Brenda Grau Cozart.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Marie Grau; children, John W. Grau, Jr. and Amy Johnson Gepart; step-children, Chester Alan Yates and Terri Yates Danna; 5 grandchildren, and his special beloved cat "Little".
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until Service Time Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the River Cities Humane Society for Cats in Monroe, LA.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff, nurses, and volunteers with Premier Hospice Group of Monroe, LA. Also, thank you to all family and friends for your support.
