Roll for September & October, 1861, Appointed Sergeant, October 8. Roll for November & December, 1861, Absent. On furlough of 60 days since December 10. Present on Rolls from May, 1862 - August 31, 1862. Rolls from September, 1862 - December, 1862, Absent, wounded at Iuka. Absent on sick furlough. Present January & February, 1863. Captured & paroled at Vicksburg, Mississippi, July 4, 1863. Reported in camp. for exchange at Natchitoches, Louisiana, before April 1, 1864. Paroled at Monroe, Louisiana, June 9, 1865. Residence Morehouse Parish, Louisiana
