Lucille O'Neal Dempsey Todd, 72 of Gray, TX passed away February 14, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Gray Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Wayne Shew. Burial will follow in Vivian Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday the 15th from 6-8 pm at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA.

Mrs. Todd was born August 25, 1939 in Vivian, LA to Carlos and Velma Dempsey. She lived all of her life in this area. She was a member of the Gray Baptist church where she served as the nursery attendant. She loved to go bowling; she loved to work and was one of the first lady pumpers for Amoco. She loved her family and she loved cooking for her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Wiley Todd Jr., her parents and her 3 brothers; Gus, Bobby and Roger Dempsey. She is survived by her husband, Earl Wiley Todd Sr., her children, Carlos Gene Todd of Vivian and Sharon McDonald and husband Charlie of Gray, TX, her 4 grandchildren; Sumer Cooner and husband Nick, Jessie Todd, Sydni McDonald and Courtney Boyd, her 2 great grandchildren; Henry Todd Cooner and Brayden Lampkin. She is also survived by her sisters; Estelle Adcock, Quinnie Blizzard and Susie Howell, her brothers; Jimmy Dempsey, Doyle Dempsey and Pat Dempsey, and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
