July 24, 1837 - July 3, 1908
He enlisted May 10, 1862 at Monroe, Louisiana. His name appeared on a Roll of Prisoners of War captured at Vicksburg on July 4, 1863. Later, his name appeared on a list of Officers and Men who reported in camp for exchange at Vienna, Louisiana on March 29, 1864. He was listed as a Prisoner of War after his unit surrendered at New Orleans, Louisiana on May 26, 1865. He was paroled in June 1865.
