Graveside Services for Mr. Bobby Steele Brooks, 82, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Harry Boyd officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Brooks was born on April 2, 1926 and passed away on May 20, 2008 at his residence in West Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Army, serving in WWII liberating the Concentration Camps in Dachau,Germany. Mr. Brooks loved working and restoring old machinery. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Franks Brooks and by his step-son, John “ToJo” Green.
Survivors include his son, Arthur Brooks and wife Joyce and his sister, Martha Brooks Varnado and husband Charles.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA
