November 17, 1932 - April 18, 2017
Bobby C. Tirpitz, 84, of Vivian, Louisiana passed away on April 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA, officiated by Rev. Richard Beeman. Burial will follow at Vivian Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 20th at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home.
Bobby was born on November 17, 1932 in Vivian, LA to August and Orlean Tirpitz. He was a member of First Baptist Church Vivian and was ordained a deacon in 1958 at Mooringsport Baptist Church. He worked as an operator for UOP. Bobby loved to fish and hunt when he was able to. He also loved motorcycles. He never met a stranger and loved to visit with everyone.
He is preceded in death by his five sisters, Lucy Hack, Pauline Stanfield, Edna Link, Billie Fay Scott and Doris Mouser. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Dolores Hamiter Tirpitz of Vivian, LA, one son Kevin Tirpitz and wife Donna of Montgomery, Texas, his two brothers, Morris Tirpitz and wife Helen of Shreveprt, LA, and Carl Tirpitz of Baton Rouge, LA, and three granddaughters, Krispen Tirpitz, Charly and Brittany Hollier.
Pallbearers will be men of First Baptist Church Vivian.
