Since 1979, Georgeine was a member of the Frances Rebecca Harrison Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution through which she earned numerous state and national awards.

She was a member of the NW Louisiana Archaeology Society for 18 years and loved digging all over Arkansas, Texas and NW Louisiana, exploring the history of the region. She was a charter member of the Friends of the Adai Caddo Indians. She was a member of the Zetalathean Club, the Vesper Chapter of the Eastern Star in Vivian and the Historical Society of North Caddo.

Georgeine was also active on the Vivian Chamber of Commerce and elected “Vivian’s Woman of the Year”.
