Fred E. Hartline, 72 of Vivian, LA entered into rest on January 01, 2010 in his home at 9416 Hosston Road, Vivian, LA. Services for Mr. Hartline will be held at 2pm Sunday, January 3rd at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Beeman, associate pastor of First Baptist Church officiating and Reverend Dustie Dunn, pastor of First Baptist Church, Vivian assisting. Burial will follow in Vivian Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, January 2nd from 6-8pm. Mr. Hartline was born in Vivian, LA on February 3, 1937 and had been a resident of Vivian for most of his life. He retired from the United States Navy in July 1975 after 20 years of service as an air craft mechanic, and also from Caddo Parish School Board in January 1997 after 21 years of service as shop foreman at the School Bus garage in Vivian, LA. He loved to do carpentry work, fish, help others in any way, but most of all he loved his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Hartline was preceded in death by his father and mother, Willie and Florence Hartline; sisters, Dorothy Hartline and Margie Layton. He is survived by his wife Beverly Cornelius Hartline of Vivian, two daughters, Connie Marie Covey and husband Alvis of Linden, TX and Cathy Mae Linda Wilson and husband Charles A. Wilson of Orange, TX, one granddaughter, Taylor Renea Wilson, three grandsons, Hayden and Jacob Covey and Noah Wilson, one step-brother, Joseph Turner and wife Tommy of Clovis NM and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Clint Alexander, Robin Bankard, Darren Hickman, Kevin Poston, Ben Sawangsri, Brandon Wilson and Joel Wilson.
