Charlie Mae Hammock, 101, of Shreveport, LA passed away on December 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA, officiated by Dr. Larry Williams. Burial will follow at Vivian Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 11:00 AM till the time of service, on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel, in Vivian.

Charlie Mae was born on September 21, 1914 in Cass County, Texas to Charlie Daniel and Lillian Tanner Daniel. She lived in Vivian all of her life and was a member of Vivian Methodist Church. She loved to be with people and loved to cook. She enjoyed having people over at her house to cook for, and to visit with. She was a very giving person, and a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Lillian Daniel, her husband S. M. Hammock, her sister Annie Lee Luttrell, her granddaughter Belinda Timbs, and her infant grandson Biff Bell. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Hammock of Shreveport, LA, her niece Wanda Robbins of Fairhope, Alabama, her niece Martha Guess and nephew Howard A. Hammock both of Vivian.

Pallbearers will be Tim Nielsen, Matthew Nielsen, Jim Nicholson, Randy George, C. B. Lewis and Jamey Grogan.

Family requests memorial to be made to the Baddour Center, P.O. Box 97 Senatobia, MS 38668
