August 16, 1965 - January 15, 2018

Tracy Yvette Jefferson Graham was granted her angel wings on January 15, 2018. Her final days were surrounded by countless family and friends, whose lives she touched in more ways than she could imagine.

Tracy was born August 16, 1965 in Shreveport, Louisiana to A.C. and Mary Jefferson. She graduated from North Caddo High School, class of 1983 in Vivian, Louisiana. While in high school, she met the man that would become her husband. She married Robert Graham, Sr. on December 23, 1984, to this union, two children were born, Robert Jr. and Neshell. On November 15, 2008, her heart made room for another with the adoption of her youngest son, Gary.

Growing up, she came to know about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived her life based on Godly principles and she treated everyone she met with respect, regardless of their background or ability to treat others the same. She believed in working hard and keeping busy because of her strong faith in Jesus Christ. She was a warrior in her own right and inspired many with her ability to persevere.

Tracy’s passion in life was always to serve others and she fulfilled that passion through working with children. She worked for many organizations and companies that fostered the development of children, such as Headstart, Kindercare Learning Center, Jonathan’s Place, and La Petite Learning Center. This led to her desire to help abused and neglected children through the ministry of fostering, where she was able to impact the lives of 16 children, including that of her youngest son. In 2012, she opened her home as a daycare center, Peaches’ Palace, in order to continue working and impacting the lives of young children. Peaches’ Palace fulfilled one of her many passions, sparking her desire to go back to school to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from Ashford University in 2015. Her ultimate goal was to open a center of her own, similar to Jonathan’s Place, where abandoned and forgotten children would be able to find love and solace through her.

Her memory will live on and be cherished forever by her husband, Robert Graham, Sr.; her three heartbeats, Robert Jr. (Chloe), Neshell, and Gary Graham; her parents, A.C. and Mary Jefferson, one brother, Micheal “Big Dog” Jefferson (Abbie); one sister/daughter/friend, Cosalind Frank; her faithful companion, Cappuccino “Chino” Graham; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
