Elouise Wilkins Hamrick, of Rosenberg Texas, was born April 27, 1934 in Vivian, Louisiana. She was the daughter of the late Allen W. Wilkins and the late Rose Ella (Brown) Wilkins. She had two brothers: AJ Wilkins and Eartes Wilkins, and three sisters: Vetra Rhodes, Ouida Huhn, and Juanita Williams. Elouise was raised on Pine Island La. where she attended the old Vivian High School. She married the love of her life, Virgle Hamrick on June 10, 1950 and recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Virgle Hamrick, her two children Son Ralph and wife Carol Hamrick of Rosenberg, Texas and Daughter Sandra Brou of Deer Park Texas, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren Sharon and Husband Roberto Marin daughter Robin of College Station Texas, Karon and Jeff McMeans sons JP and Aaron of Richmond Texas, Toby and wife Windy Hamrick and twin daughters, Avery and Hanna, of Houston Texas, and Rebekah and husband Cecil Shipman daughter Emily of College Station Texas, Robert and Michele Brou of Atlanta Georgia, She was a wonderful wife, mother, and nana. She lived a blessed life, traveling and living in many places around the world. Elouise was a wonderful cook who loved to try and share recipes with her family. She was a woman who truly loved her family, evidenced by all of the lives she touched. In the still of peaceful sleep, she yielded her spirit and went home to be with her Lord. She stands at heavens gate and says I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.
