LaPrell “Red” Miles, 77, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Vivian, LA, officiated by Rev. Barry Carter. Burial will follow at Vivian Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation on Monday at the church starting at 9 am until service time.
Mr. Miles was born February 12, 1939 to E.C. and Rosie Lee Miles in Vivian, LA where he lived all of his life. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Red was preceded in death by his wife Nora Oleta Ely Miles and his son Wesley Marcel Miles. He is survived by his daughter LaRitha Miles Terry and husband Mike, his siblings; LaVerne Shelton of Vivian, Tommy Eugene Miles Sr. and wife Sherry of Monterrey Lake and Josephine “Judy” Miles Lemons and husband Gene of Vivian, and his grandson Miles Terry.
