Wife of G W Montgomery

Tallulah, Louisiana, May 19. — Mrs Rosa Trezevant Montgomery, wife of the late George W Montgomery,
one of Madison Parish's pioneers and leaders, died at her home in Tallulah last night, after an illness of a few days. She suffered a stroke of paralysis about a week ago, just after she had entered her home after an automobile ride, and never regained consciousness.
She is survived by one son and one daughter — George W Montgomery and Mrs W R Spann, both of Tallulah.
She was a member of the prominent Trezevant family of New Orleans. All the business houses closed during the funeral hour today as a mark of respect, the interment being in a local cemetery.
