Jas J. Mitchell Dead
James J. Mitchell, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Bogalusa died at his home about a mile from Columbia road Monday following an extended illness. The deceased was about 75 years of age and is survived by many relatives among whom is his son, L. G. Mitchell, of Bogalusa. The deceased was a member of Sherrard Byrch lodge of Masons at Poplarville. The funeral services were held at the family residence Tuesday afternoon under the auspices of the local lodge of Masons and burial was in Ponder Centery.
