Funeral services for Mrs Pearl Cupit, age 86, were held at 2 pm Friday February 19, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev Lillard Bevel officiating. Burial followed at the Silver Cross Cemetery.
Mrs Cupit died Tuesday, February 16, 1999, in the Summitt Hospital in West Monroe, Louisiana, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, and had lived in Madison Parish for more than 12 years. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons: Alvin T.Cupit and Ray J. Cupit, both of Tallulah, and James L. Cupit of Homer. Louisiana; and six daughters: Hattie Ray Walker of Monroe, Eddie Mae Spillers of West Monroe, Mary L Monson of Tallulah, Mamie Dell Lindquist of Gross Tete, Louisiana, Johnny C Griffin of Natchez. Mississippi, and Jeannie M. McCall of Goodwill, Louisiana
Grandson served as pallbearers.
Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
